FMLA lawsuits connected to ADA are growing, experts say

There are an increasing number of Americans With Disabilities Act lawsuits connected to the Family and Medical Leave Act, which means employers need to educate themselves about their obligations, legal experts say. "More cases are going to trial and more cases will settle for more money than they have in the past, partially resulting from the FMLA and ADA significantly intersecting," lawyer Patrick Hicks says.
