Hershey takes farmer training program to Nigeria

Hershey is expanding its Learn to Grow program, launched in Ghana last year, to Nigeria, where farmers will receive training and support to grow certified cocoa for Hershey products. “We believe cocoa farming in Nigeria will benefit greatly from modernization programs that help increase incomes, improve communities, reduce child labor and assure long-term supply,” said Terry O’Day, senior vice-president, chief supply chain officer.
