Ind. educators learn about using common core in the classroom

Indiana lawmakers have passed a bill that delays implementation of the Common Core State Standards until further review. Even so, some educators are moving forward with staff-development sessions that teach them how to use the common core in the classroom. For example, approximately 170 teachers recently met for common core training offered by the National Math and Science Initiative.
