Many college and university chief business officers are expected to retire or leave their positions soon, according to a survey by the National Association of College and University Business Officers. About 40% of CBOs say they will retire and 37% say they will leave their jobs within four years. Analysts add that the turnover could open the door for more diversity in the positions. "These survey results should give campus presidents and other leaders opportunities to discuss strategies for dealing with this upcoming change," the survey states.
