Wal-Mart gears up for back-to-school

Wal-Mart will offer free shipping on school uniforms and supplies ordered online, bring back an online supply and uniform database and organize school supplies into a single Teacher's Corner in its brick-and-mortar stores, the retailer said Tuesday. Wal-Mart's back-to-school efforts will also include more than 250 items that cost less than $1 and the return of a charitable promotion that offers teachers up to $4.5 million in rewards cards to buy classroom supplies.
