Many suffer from "clinical inertia" regarding diabetes warnings

Despite the constant warnings of health care providers, many people with diabetes are unwilling to heed the advice. Recent studies also show providers are prone to "clinical inertia," meaning they are slow to ramp up treatment when patients' sugar and blood pressure levels warrant it.
