Study: High glycemic diet linked to eye disease

A new study reveals a diet of carbohydrate-rich food with a high glycemic index, including food sweetened with sugar or corn syrup, could lead to age-related macular degeneration. Researchers don't know the exact link but said high glucose levels could harm the retina and capillaries to the eyes.
