Reduced termination fees a growing trend in wireless

Saying they want to give consumers greater choice, all four major wireless carriers are moving to lower fees that penalize subscribers for ending their contracts before they expire. T-Mobile USA was the latest to do so June 28, joining Verizon Wireless and AT&T, which had done so earlier, while a Sprint Nextel spokesman said it would follow suit this year.
