CDC report shows increase in U.S. teen birth rate

A new CDC report showed an increase in birth rates among teenagers in 2006 and 2007, ending a decline in the teen birth rate from 1991 to 2005. The CDC data also found one-third of adolescents had not received any birth control instruction before age 18 and cases of syphilis in young people ages 15 to 24 have increased.
