Companies seek to move ahead in regenerative-tissue market

Genzyme, a maker of skin-tissue regeneration treatments, and other companies are looking to establish a cell bank that would allow treatment for many people with multiple diseases, to help make treatments more affordable and more profitable. The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine says "a public policy framework" is needed for regenerative tissue science to be translated into commercial products.
