Determining leadership potential in a job interview requires asking questions that get past a good first impression and really probe their experiences and talents, Jennifer McClure writes. While it can be useful to ask for specific examples of times when a candidates has shown leadership ability, these questions can backfire on novices, so be sure to mix it up.
