Ex-employees are puzzled by JPMorgan's statement about traders

Former JPMorgan Chase executives said the bank's claim that London traders mismarked trades to hide a loss of possibly $5.8 billion doesn't make sense. An internal control group checks trading data without relying on information from traders to accurately track profit, losses and risk, they said.
