Africa unlikely to meet MDG on HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, officials says

Africa will continue to battle HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria but likely won't achieve the 2015 Millennium Development Goals, say attendees at an African Union meeting. However, there is recognition by African leaders "that only a healthy population can take advantage of Africa's potential," writes Azad Essa.
