Apple teams with cable for inroads into TV

Apple is trying to expand its TV footprint by partnering with HBO, ESPN, Time Warner Cable and other pay-TV players. Apple's steps include a mobile application with Time Warner Cable and improving its $100 Apple TV device by adding access to certain cable channels to users who are pay-TV customers.
