ARC reports decline in airline ticket sales in June

ARC says the consolidated dollar value of airline tickets sold by U.S. travel agents in June was down 1.38% from last year, to $7.1 billion. The consolidated dollar value of sales year-over-year in the first half of 2013 declined 0.71%, to $46.11 billion. Total ticket sales were down 3.89% in June, at 11.38 million transactions.
