Travel agents should craft their own mission statement and take ownership of their travel business to realize their identity and role within the company, Richard Earls writes. "If you own your own company, whether a large agency or as a home based agent, the skills you develop contribute directly to the success or failure of the enterprise, but they arise from a set of ethics and principles far deeper," Earls writes.
