CTIA seeks more informal action on status of networks

CTIA-The Wireless Association® has asked federal regulators to conduct a more collaborative public inquiry rather a former rulemaking procedure that could result in a probe of carriers' networks for reliability in the event of natural disasters. In a filing with the Federal Communications Commission, CTIA said a proposal before the FCC would not provide an accurate picture of the condition of carriers' networks.
