Education tech leaders share best practices for using whiteboards

Interactive whiteboards are common in today's classrooms, but sometimes they are underutilized by educators who may feel uncomfortable with the technology, says Steve Prull, educational-technology director at the High Desert Education Service District in Oregon. In this article, technology leaders share tips for using interactive whiteboards. Tips include training substitutes how to use the device and remembering to disconnect laptops before checking e-mail.
