Longest Customs waits are at JFK, Miami airports

Fliers going through Customs will spend more time doing so at JFK Terminal 4 in New York, and Miami North Concourse and Miami South Concourse in Florida. They were listed as the top three Customs sites with the longest waits in the U.S. At JFK, fliers waited an average of 93 minutes to get through as of May. "There’s been a reduction in manpower and the process isn’t as efficient as it should be," said Stephen Sigmund, executive director of the Global Gateway Alliance, a lobbying group aiming to improve tri-state airport conditions.
