N.Y. county still needs $500M to repair sewage, pollution plants

Nassau County, N.Y., lawmakers have authorized $262 million in bonds to repair the Bay Park Sewage Treatment Plant and the Cedar Creek Water Pollution Control Plant, which were damaged by superstorm Sandy. The county needs an additional $500,000 because the repair will cost more than $700 million.
