Senate bill calls for more expedited screening options

A $46.4 billion Senate bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security would require the Transportation Security Administration to extend expedited screening to 25% of fliers by the end of this year and to 50% by next year. The bill also calls for better training for officers in dealing with fliers who need special assistance.
