U.S. Senate bill would see more expedited screening options

A $46.4 billion Senate bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security mandates that the Transportation Security Administration would have to extend expedited screening to 25% of fliers by the end of this year, and to 50% by next year. The bill also calls for better officer training for fliers who need special assistance.
