DISH Network and nTelos have officially launched fixed wireless Internet service in Virginia, offering download speeds up to 10 megabits per second in five markets using the regional carrier's cache of 2.5 GHz spectrum. Subscribers will pay $30 a month for the service as part of a bundle that includes DISH's satellite service.
