Ky. university to phase out $1M per year from state's Baptist Convention

Over the next four years, Campbellsville University will phase out nearly $1 million in funding each year from the Kentucky Baptist Convention. The move gives the school more academic freedom and the ability to choose its own trustees. Chip Hutcheson, president of the Baptist Convention, expressed disappointment in the decision but said the convention remained committed to dialogue with the school.
