Intelligent design debate may resurface in Minnesota

Education Commissioner Cheri Pierson Yecke said she will recommend that the committee in charge of the state's science standards consider a plan to introduce the theory of intelligent design to the state's classrooms. Yecke also said the state would require all high school students to take three years of math beginning with the class of 2008.
