Observers question effectiveness of Alaska missile system

Six missile interceptors designed to destroy enemy warheads in space are located in Fort Greely, Alaska. The Pentagon says the missiles, built by Boeing, are a "thin line" defense against hostile nations. However, it is unclear if the defense system works. The interceptor has failed two tests in the past year.
