Celebrity chefs gain corporate marketing muscle

Because of an onslaught of successful TV programs on a number of networks, celebrity chefs are becoming popular and powerful. Five chefs were listed on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2007, including Bobby Flay, who earned $2 million in 2006. Corporations outside the restaurant industry are taking notice.
