House panel to hold hearing on Google-DoubleClick deal

The House Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection will hold a hearing on Google's planned takeover of DoubleClick, with a focus on how the deal could impact consumer privacy and whether it's anticompetitive. Google is "confident" the deal would have positive consequences and that it will get the OK of the FTC, a company spokesman said.
