Lenovo looks to India for marketing

The Chinese electronics company Lenovo Group, which markets the IBM Thinkpad personal computer, plans to centralize its global marketing with a team in Bangalore, India, in a move that illustrates the declining primacy of the traditional advertising hubs of New York and London. Longtime Lenovo shop WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide is helping to develop the Bangalore hub.
