New prescription rule could be problem for Medicaid patients

A new requirement that Medicaid prescriptions be written on "tamper-resistant" pads could cause problems for millions of patients. Most doctors do not use the pads, which will be required as of Oct. 1, which could result in limited access to needed drugs, an official of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores said.
