Study: Dual-role protein links obesity to asthma

A new study found molecules produced by the Th2 immune system cells, which are linked to lung inflammation and asthma, also produce the PMCH protein that increases appetites, showing a link between asthma and obesity. Researchers say the findings show why obese people are more prone to asthma than people of normal weight.
