High hopes for technology's personalization

Computer-aided personalization has been getting more and more sophisticated, with product recommendations on Amazon.com and suggested movies from Netflix, but scientists have their sights set much higher, building a Smart Kitchen that can have the microwave programmed before you've taken a TV dinner out of the freezer. But some say the future lies only in a balanced mix of technology and human intuition.
