Column: Travel agents need to be proactive

Columnist John Frenaye writes that travel agents are affected by everything -- including SARS, natural disasters, the economy, and other events and situations out of their control. Still, agents need to deal with whatever comes their way and would do well to take a proactive approach, according to Frenaye. He specifically discusses the recent case of identity theft by people claiming to be travel agents who were accused of a $20 million fraud against airlines.
