Luxury brands play online catch-up

Luxury retailers held back for years as their less-pricey peers led the march to online retail. Now companies are playing catch-up as time-strapped affluent buyers head to the Internet to shop, according to a report from Unity Marketing. "Many luxury brands have a decade of catching up to do to learn how to effectively reach their online market, but those that do will find consumers willing to spend," said President Pam Danziger.
