Pennsylvania battery firm uses federal funds to add jobs

East Penn Manufacturing in Lyons, Pa., is using a $32.5 million grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to help buy equipment, boost battery production for hybrid vehicles and create jobs. The grant money is part of a larger investment by the U.S. to increase the number of American-made vehicle batteries.
