Study: Body-image improvement may aid in weight loss

Women who attended weekly sessions on exercise, eating and body-image improvement had better eating behavior and lost more weight compared with those who were only given general information on nutrition and stress management, a study found. The findings in the International Journal of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity suggest that improving body image may aid in weight-loss programs, experts said.
