Calif. city transportation panel opposes flight school

The Healdsburg, Calif., Transportation Advisory Commission has voted against an application for a flight school at Healdsburg Municipal Airport. Residents complain that aircraft regularly fly off flight paths and too close to homes, and they say a flight school would make the situation worse. The City Council will make the final decision, possibly next month.
