Jesse Eisinger of ProPublica writes that recent steps by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Federal Reserve, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission are encouraging examples of regulatory steps in the right direction. These recent examples mark some of the few victories that regulators have won over the banking industry, Eisinger writes.
