Mixologists experiment with cocktails at exclusive Ariz. bar

R+D Craft Cocktail Bar in Scottsdale, Ariz., uses a range of techniques and gadgets to create its cocktails, such as barrel-aging and a siphon-style double boiler that is used to infuse vodka with botanical flavors. "It borders on molecular mixology without going so far over the edge that we lose the focus of creating a good cocktail," said co-owner Andrew Fritz.
