More efficient transportation spending could help finance new projects, Foxx says

Improving the efficiency of current transportation spending in the U.S. could save funds that can be used for new transportation projects, including rail, writes Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx. An effort "to improve the efficiency and performance of our existing transportation system" will lead to a stronger country, job creation, and set a stable platform for future leaders to be successul in a global economic stage, Foxx noted.
