Palliative care doctor in Canada creates training on suicide requests

Physicians get little training on how to handle requests from terminally ill patients to help them end their lives, so Canadian palliative care physician Dr. Larry Librach created a training program at the University of Toronto's Joint Centre for Bioethics. The requests can be a sign of unidentified suffering that should be addressed, according to the course.
