Programs expand opportunities in science for minority students

Two programs are helping Baltimore public-school students broaden their career horizons. The Medical Education Resources Initiative for Teens and Biophysics Research for Baltimore Teens programs were developed to ensure minority students are exposed to careers in medicine. Students participating in the programs get hands-on experience and mentor support in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
