Study shows value of community involvement in early planning stage of wind projects

Researchers from Plymouth State University found that residents in New Hampshire's Newfound Lake-Plymouth area were more receptive to wind projects if they were consulted in the initial proposal and planning phases of the projects. The researchers hope that the findings will help improve the permitting process for wind projects in the area.
