Survey: Few college financial leaders confident in their school's business model

Only 24% of college chief financial officers expressed strong confidence in the sustainability of their school's business model over the next five years, according to a new survey by Inside Higher Ed and Gallup. The survey, based on CFO responses at 438 colleges and universities, found that 37% want to reduce the number of administrators to save money, while 55% want to collaborate with other schools to provide academic programs.
