Michigan district experiments with online classrooms

A Michigan school district this fall will begin using a new online education program, Education 2020, that offers teacher-monitored labs for students who need to make up credits or who want to clear room in their daily schedules. Unlike many Internet programs, a teacher is always present during the classes provided by 2020, making the experience similar to a traditional classroom.
