Alabama native Edward Watts founded Watts Engineering & Architecture P.C., considered one of the New York region's most successful minority-owned engineering firms. His firm employs 47 people with nine licensed professional engineers; Watts is a board member of Black Engineering Awareness for Minorities and gives workshops at junior high and high schools in New York.
