Boeing CEO calls Airbus A350 design "ambitious"

Boeing Chief Executive James McNerney called Airbus' plan to overhaul its A350 jetliners "ambitious," but he noted that it is too early to tell whether the plane will threaten Boeing's 777 and 787. "I don't feel any less comfortable about our position today than I did the day before yesterday," McNerney said. Airbus unveiled its A350 redesign Monday at the Farnborough International Airshow.
