New York senator introduces "no texting while driving" bill

New York state Sen. Carl Marcellino, R-Syosset, has introduced legislation that would make it illegal to type, send or read text messages while driving. "Text messaging is the ultimate distraction because most of the time you're using two thumbs, plus you're looking at the screen," Marcellino said.
