Over the years, American researchers have developed countless pioneering green technologies -- but few of them have found mainstream acceptance, notes Michael Kanellos of GreenTechMedia. That's partly because of industry lobbyists and the relative abundance of resources, Kanellos writes, but it's also because greens have dropped the ball on public relations. "[L]ike it or not, the posture of some green advocates has made it easier for the opposition," he writes.
