Adaptive aquatics teaches water safety to children with special needs

Children with autism and other special needs are receiving specialized instruction in water safety and swimming through a program at a Florida aquatic center. Each student is assisted by a volunteer "buddy" in the Aquability program, which has qualified instructors providing lessons in safety, floating and adaptive aquatics.
